Youth clubs are a vital part of our service. Here young carers can relax, take some time for themselves, make friends and have fun
Youth clubs are split by age with Budz groups for primary school children and uTime for those at high school
At the youth clubs, the young carers can try all kinds of different activities or just relax. They can make friends who really understand about life as a young carer. They can also talk to our staff about anything that is worrying them so we can pick up any problems really quickly. These clubs run regularly during school term time. To access the clubs you must be a young carer who is registered with our service and needs some regular time out.
Youth Clubs in Bradford district
There are 4 Budz (age 5-11) groups and 4 uTime (age 11-18) groups around Bradford, one in each family hub area. Budz and uTime run alternate weeks in each venue, so check the calendar to find out when your group is running. If it is easier for you to get to a different area that’s fine, just let us know which you would like to attend. Please talk to a team member before coming to a group for the first time as it is possible there may be a waiting list.
- Bradford East – Mondays 4.30pm-6pm
- Bradford South – Tuesdays 4.30pm-6pm
- Keighley and Shipley – Wednesdays 4.30pm-6pm
- Bradford West – Thursdays 4.30pm-6pm

In Harrogate, clubs run on Thursdays, with Budz one week and uTime the next, so check the calendar to find out when your group is running. Please talk to a team member before coming to a group for the first time as it is possible there may be a waiting list.
- Budz (age 7-11) Thursday 3.30pm-5pm
- uTime (age 11-18) Thursday 6pm-7.30pm

In Selby, clubs run on Wednesdays, with each group running once per month, so check the calendar to find out when your group is running. Please talk to a team member before coming to a group for the first time as it is possible there may be a waiting list.

- uTime (age 11-18) Wednesday 5pm – 6.30pm
Youth Clubs in Craven district
In Craven, a uTime (age 11-18) group runs monthly. Please check the calendar to find out when it is running and talk to a team member before coming to a group for the first time as it is possible there may be a waiting list.
There is currently no Budz (age 7-11) group running in Craven but we will be starting one soon.
