Trips and Activities

Trips and activities give young carers the opportunity to take a break from their caring responsibilities, enjoy new experiences, and spend time with other young people who understand their lives and experiences.

We believe it is important that young carers have a voice in shaping the support they receive, so they help us decide which activities and trips to plan. We aim to make every experience enjoyable, inclusive, and meaningful, helping young carers build confidence, friendships, and positive memories.

Some activities provide opportunities to challenge themselves and develop resilience, such as paddle boarding, climbing, or outdoor adventure activities. Other trips focus more on wellbeing, relaxation, and emotional health, such as spending time with animals on a farm or enjoying a day at the beach.

By taking part in these activities, young carers can have fun, feel valued, try new things, and have time to focus on themselves and their own wellbeing.
