An after school group for Young Carers in the Selby District aged 11-16 years to come along and have some time for themselves and to meet other Young Carers.

This isn't a "group" session but an open session for carers who would like to visit the carers centre for some time out, a brew, a chat or to pick up information.  There is always a volunteer on hand to welcome you,  make a brew and have a chat.  The sessions are supported by Carers' Resource support workers who are on hand in case there is a need for more "practical" support or information.

Join us for a coffee and to meet other parent carers, with occasional guest speakers.

Delivered by two very experienced facilitators Candy Squire-Watt and Alex Beaumont, this short programme, of two friendly and informal workshops will cover; Confidence and Self-Care, 
Self- Advocacy and overcoming the fear of conflict.
