A group for all parent carers with children who have additional needs, for example; learning, physical, behavioural, emotional, mental health.

Whatever their age, diagnosed or undiagnosed, our group could be for you.

This group will be a chance to meet other parent carers, benefit from peer support, supporting eachother, asking questions and taking some time out and have a brew.

Featuring occasional guest speakers and other professionals.

This isn't a "group" session but an open session for carers who would like to visit the carers centre for some time out, a brew, a chat or to pick up information.  There is always a volunteer on hand to welcome you,  make a brew and have a chat.  The sessions are supported by Carers' Resource support workers who are on hand in case there is a need for more "practical" support or information.

Group for parent carers of young adults (18+) with autism. 
Carers only.
 No charges, people buy their own tea or coffee from the hotel bar, which is cashless. 
No need to book.

The group is for carers, however some carers do bring along the people they care for.

It is a great chance to meet new people, have a cup of tea or coffee with biscuits, have a chat and were here to support you with anything you may need.

The group is free, although we do accept donations and any are greatly appreciated.
