Carers’ Resource is delighted to be able to advertise new roles to support carers. We are seeking:
- Trainee Locality Workers
- Trainee Group Worker
- Trainee Home for Hospital Worker
As a Trainee with Carers’ Resource you will have the opportunity to gain skills and experience as you work alongside existing staff to deliver services and support to either unpaid carers, or patients recently discharged from hospital.
You will play a pivotal role alongside colleagues through listening, advising and advocating for the clients you will be working with. You’ll conduct initial assessments/wellbeing reviews, identify required actions, and collaborate with local services. Additionally, you’ll engage in outreach work to promote our services and may be involved in facilitating peer support groups.
These roles at Carers’ Resource offer a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of carers/ patients leaving hospital while collaborating with local partners and working within a dedicated team.
You will undertake a training programme relevant to your role, and build a portfolio of learning.
You will be based in our Shipley or Harrogate office, supporting clients in local communities.

Salary scale quoted for 37 hours per week.
