Carers’ Resource is encouraging carers to enjoy the outdoors this spring by inviting them to two events at its Bradford allotment.
On Tuesday 4th April, from 11am to 2pm, the charity will be holding a Spring Open Garden.
Carers are welcome to come and see the daffodils and tulips in bloom. The event is a great chance to meet other carers in a lovely open space.
On Tuesday 11th April, from 11am to 1pm, an Easter Egg Hunt event will take place at the allotment. The egg hunt will start at 11.30am.
This event, featuring an Easter bonnet and bunny competition with prizes, is for parent carers and cared-for, and young carers. Numbers are limited so pre-booking is essential!
Carers’ Resource Allotment Officer Becca Marshall said: “Please come along and join us to see the allotment in springtime and have some fun at the same time. This is a great opportunity to see what we’ve achieved in transforming the allotment into a lovely community space.”
To book, call Becca Marshall on 07842 312719 or email bmarshall@carersresource.org
Refreshments will be provided at both of these events.
The allotment is at the corner of Killinghall Road and Northcote Road, opposite MB Motor Group. The postcode is BD2 4QH.
