Step into the Grand Hall and witness its beauty, with gold leaf and lapis lazuli adorning the dome. As you stand on the original sprung dance floor, one can’t help but wonder if the echoes of the past might reveal a few friendly ghosts!

You’ll learn why this remains a centrepiece of Harrogate’s popularity, discover the scandalous stories of its past and why the name changed from the Kursaal to the Royal Hall.

The group is for carers, however some carers do bring along the people they care for.

It is a great chance to meet new people, have a cup of tea or coffee with biscuits, have a chat and were here to support you with anything you may need.

The group is free, although we do accept donations and any are greatly appreciated.

Lunch group for carers and the people they support

This isn't a "group" session but an open session for carers who would like to visit the carers centre for some time out, a brew, a chat or to pick up information.  There is always a volunteer on hand to welcome you,  make a brew and have a chat.  The sessions are supported by Carers' Resource support workers who are on hand in case there is a need for more "practical" support or information.
