About Us:

Carers’ Resource is an independent, award-winning Yorkshire charity which has provided services to our clients and carers of all ages for over 25 years.  The Home from Hospital team provide emotional and practical support upon discharge from hospital for North Yorkshire residents. We enable and empower our clients and seek to facilitate independent living.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager, preferably with experience of working within hospital environments, to lead our North Yorkshire team. You will be a persuasive and confident manager and should have experience of the health and social care sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively lead the Home from Hospital team and fully integrate the service into the relevant discharge pathways
  • Be able to build effective and productive partnerships across North Yorkshire
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with  those involved in Hospital discharges
  • Ensure the service is delivered within the service levels agreed and to meet local demand
Requirements:
  • Experience in a leadership or management role
  • Ability to manage budgets and compile reports
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively
  • Valid, full UK driver’s license and access to a car during working hours
