We listen, we care, we respect.

These simple actions ensure we are all listening, caring and respecting not only our customers and their families, but each other.

Who We Are

Care@ Carers Resource is a service of Carers’ Resource which is a registered charity operating as a social care CQC regulated provider in Yorkshire. Our services are open to anyone over the age of 18 who requires social care support in the areas where we operate. Funding for our services comes from a variety of sources including individual self funders, health, social care, direct payments and more recently individual service funds. We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission.

Our Purpose and Values

Our Purpose is:

To provide a responsive, dignified and caring, person-centred support package to enhance and enrich the quality of people’s lives.

Our Values are:

We Listen: to our customers and staff, using feedback for continuous service improvement ensuring the quality of the service exceeds expectations. Continual engagement with our customers ensures that our customers make a real contribution to the organisation and make recommendations for future improvements.

We Care: about our staff and customers.  We strongly believe that customers are at the centre; and our service is individually tailored to meet customer’s needs and goals. A flexible, adaptable and responsive service to fit around needs rather than the availability of the service. We aim to enhance and enrich life through tailor made support. We believe staff deserve to receive the best support provided by a skilled team who share our values. In turn, we value our staff and invest in their learning and development to ensure care received is delivered by a competent, motivated and consistent workforce.

We Respect: We promote diversity and inclusion at every level within the organisation. We ensure that our customers are treated with respect and sensitivity, recognising the dignity and value of each person for whom the service is provided.

We recognise that there may be additional barriers which prevent LGBTQ+ clients from accessing support. You may worry about discrimination or people not understanding your situation. We are here to listen to your concerns, in confidence. Please contact us if you need us.

If you are a customer and have a complaint, you can use our ‘easy read complaints leaflet’ (links below) to guide you through the process.
