Worth Connecting Launch

Last changed: Friday 21 July, 2017

Great coverage in the Keighley News about the Worth Connecting project which helps over 55s in the Bradford district get connected online.

We are the lead partner of the three-year Big Lottery funded scheme which aims to encourage older people who live alone to learn and develop IT skills.

Launched yesterday, it is supported by volunteer Digital Champions who will run workshops and make home visits.

If you know someone who would benefit – or if you would like to volunteer to help others learn computer skills to use email, Skype or social media – contact Worth Connecting on (01274) 449660 or email info@worthconnecting.org

Thanks to Roy Williams and Doreen Longden for sharing their experiences of being part of the successful pilot project.

  • It has been set up by Positive Minds, a consortium of Bradford district organisations working towards tackling depression and mental ill health.
