Do you care for someone with dementia and would benefit from a workshop helping you to cope better with their condition?
We are working in partnership with Bradford Royal Infirmary to offer a two-hour session for carers on either:
– Thursday, 14 July, or Thursday, 28 July,
– 2pm to 4pm,
– in BRI’s Field House education training centre at the main site, in Duckworth Lane, Bradford BD9 6RJ.
It will include tips from health specialists on how to communicate, understand and manage situations and behaviour, reduce carer stress, and how to help prepare someone with dementia for a stay in hospital.
Carers will also be given advice on looking after their own health.
Carers’ Resource staff will be there to help and answer your questions.
For details and to book a place contact Sarah Baker at Carers’ Resource on (01274) 449660 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
