A cheeky charity calendar – which will be raising funds for carers in Shipley – has now been officially revealed.

Shipley Memories Calendar 2016 pictures residents from across Shipley and Saltaire, who volunteered to pose (semi naked) at well-known locations in the area.

Photographer Andrew Holland, who took the pictures in a Calendar Girls-style shoot, and the ‘models’ were at the grand reveal at the Ring O’ Bells pub in Shipley last night, along with our Fundraising Co-ordinator Anne and Info Officer Julie.

Various sponsors, including local businesses and organisations, were also at the celebration and thanked for their support.

Anne says: “It was a great evening and really good fun to meet the brave people who modelled for the calendar, and the sponsors who helped make it possible.

“This started as an initial idea by Andrew and it has now become a fantastic reality – it’s all down to his determination, hard work and enthusiasm. Well done!

“We are really grateful to everyone who took part in producing this brilliant calendar which will help us continue our vital support for carers.”

Three-quarters of proceeds from the sales will go towards Carers’ Resource, the rest will support Hirst Wood Regeneration Group.
