The group is for carers, however some carers do bring along the people they care for.

It is a great chance to meet new people, have a cup of tea or coffee with biscuits, have a chat and were here to support you with anything you may need.

The group is free, although we do accept donations and any are greatly appreciated.

Get yourself digitally savvy in just 6 weeks!  Beginner course on the basics to become more tech confident. We’ll supply the tablets and refreshments, just bring yourselves! Join us on the journey with 2 friendly, supportive trainers (Michaela and Eileen) to guide you through each session. 

Tuesdays from 1pm - 2:30pm. Starting 4th November 2025 then 11th November, 18th November, 25th November, 2nd December and 9th December at Anchor Project, St. Clement's Church, 294A Barkerend Road, Bradford, BD3

Please note this is a structured course rather than a drop-in, so please do book a place, as these are limited to 10 people. We will also operate a waiting list, so if you are unable to make it after booking, please let us know as soon as possible so that your space may be given to someone else. We will supply a tablet to use during the sessions and there may be an opportunity to borrow a tablet from our device bank, for you to practice at home between sessions.

A youth group for young carers of all ages in the Selby District to socialise with other young carers and have some time for themselves.

Event for carers, cared for and Carers Time Off volunteers hosted by the students of Ripon Grammar School.

Wednesday 10th December 2025, 2:00pm to 3:30pm.

Ripon Grammar School,16 Clotherholme Rd, Ripon HG4 2DG.

There will be afternoon tea of sandwiches, sausage rolls, pork pie, scones, cream and jam, mince pies, Christmas cake and buns. Tea and coffee will also be served.

A time for the students to chat with you, a chance to take part in a raffle and listen to the choir sing carols.

Students in high visibility jackets will be directing cars in the car park on arrival and departure, as well as showing guests to the venue.

The room is wheelchair accessible and there is an accessible toilet next to the room where the event will take place.
