Telephone Support Locality Carer Worker

Office-based.

30 hours permanent position

£23,725 – £26,021  (FTE)

This is an exciting opportunity for an office-based Telephone Support Locality Worker.

You will work closely with adult carers over the telephone, listening, advising and supporting them to find the best possible solutions to their problems/better manage their caring responsibilities. You will also talk to any carers who may drop into the office to provide an immediate response.

The role includes the provision of information, signposting, outreach, promoting self advocacy and completing wellbeing reviews which support carers to focus on their own wellbeing, helping them make good decisions, and preventative work which is strength based and supports self care.

You will be based in our Shipley office.

Salary scale quoted for 37 hours per week.

New appointments are normally made to the bottom of scale.
