£28,792 – £31,604 (FTE). Salary scale quoted for 37 hours per week. New appointments are normally made to the bottom of scale.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Carers’ Resource, a growing and thriving charity which supports unpaid carers – people who are looking after a friend, neighbour or relative who could not manage otherwise because of frailty, illness or disability.

Our charity has recently expanded to cover the Selby district and we are looking for an experienced manager to oversee the team of dedicated support workers and develop our service offer.

Unpaid carers have a tough job, and this role is rewarding and varied, making a real difference to people’s lives.

You will ensure that unpaid carers receive a timely and high quality service from Carers’ Resource, and that the needs and views of unpaid carers are central to all our services.

You’ll develop, manage, motivate and support staff and volunteers, working closely with our Head of Operations – North Yorkshire.

You’ll also forge strong partnerships with other local organisations to ensure the needs of carers are met.
