This is an exciting opportunity to join Carers’ Resource, a growing and thriving charity supporting unpaid carers – people who are looking after a friend, neighbour or relative who could not manage otherwise because of frailty, illness or disability.

‘Men Care Too’ is our project to encourage male carers to engage with support, services and activities.

As project worker for male carers you will develop and deliver a range of interesting and appealing social groups, activities, trips and events across the district that encourage male carer identification, involvement and support.

You will be enthusiastic and creative in supporting male carers to engage with the project. You will have strong interpersonal skills and confidence in delivering groups, activities and 1 to 1 discussions, working with vulnerable service users and in partnership with colleagues and other professionals.

For an informal discussion please contact Jenny Sengel on 07590 877901.

Closing date for applications is 5pm on 05/12/22, with interviews on 13/12/22 at our Harrogate office.
