This is an exciting opportunity to join Carers’ Resource, a growing and thriving charity supporting unpaid carers – people who are looking after a friend, neighbour or relative who could not manage otherwise because of frailty, illness or disability.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic team member with excellent verbal communication skills – a confident public speaker with a background in communications or engagement.
As part of the Engagement Team, you will pro-actively raise awareness of the needs of unpaid carers across Bradford and Craven.
You’ll develop and deliver awareness raising sessions for health and social care professionals, and for community groups.
You’ll work closely with the communications team to develop marketing materials with a particular focus on reaching out to under-represented groups of carers.
You will work with the Engagement Team and with our locality workers to help coordinate effective awareness-raising across the area.
