Owen Hughes - Chairman
Most recently Vice-Chairman of Harrogate Health Care NHS Trust and a non-executive director for nine years. Formerly Managing Director of a printing company in Leeds, a subsidiary of Rexam plc, and of Waddingtons Games Ltd and previously a director of the manufacturing division of the Burton Group. Married with four married children and ten grandchildren; enjoys most sports if time!

Harbourne - Vice Chairman
Former Executive Director of Learning and Skills Council North Yorkshire. Now works as a freelance consultant, specialising in education and training policy. Non-Executive Director of NHS North Yorkshire and York. Formerly carer for his wife, who had Huntington’s Disease.

Robinson - Treasurer
Partner in Haywood & Co, a Knaresborough firm of Chartered Accountants, with extensive financial and business contacts and expertise. Still prepared to admit to being a Leeds United season ticket holder but is working on his golf to provide some sporting pleasure!
David Blythe
Experienced senior manager in both electronic design and manufacturing industry and the third sector. Currently Provider Support Manager for Caring with Confidence and previously Regional Director for Arthritis Care. Also patient representative for Arthritis Research UK and patient teacher at Leeds University.
Viv Hobman
Recently retired, Viv has worked in senior management positions in local authority children's social care with particular interest in young carers and parent carers. Lists theatre, entertaining with friends, reading and travel as personal interests.
Sara
Lamper
Public relations consultant based in Harrogate. A former journalist, she has particular skills in media relations and crisis communication and works across a range of sectors, including financial, legal, insurance, manufacturing and property.
Jackie
Mahon
Chartered Management Accountant. Wide experience in a range of business and commercial settings, most recently at Merrill Lynch with a key role in the sponsorship of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Currently taking a break from the business world to be a mother to three young children.
Tony Pugh
Former Head of Service with Leeds City Council. Now works as a freelance consultant in health and social care. His interest in caring is from both a personal and professional perspective. When not working enjoys walking, reading and being with family.
