CAMPAIGNS AT carers' resourcE
WE WANT TO GIVE YOU MONEY!
JOIN OUR CASHBACK CHALLENGE

We would like to give your organisation £50 to invest in our future by turning it into more money that we can spend on our vital services for carers in Craven and Airedale.
We have teamed up with Fresh Radio and we are asking local businesses (or schools or groups) for their support in our modern take on the parable of the talents.
We want to give your business, group or organisation £50 and challenge you to multiply this amount to raise as much as possible for this great cause.
There are lots of ideas available when you sign up - it could be something very small and simple like a raffle or a coffee morning in your office or you can make it as wild, wacky and wonderful as you like.
Fresh Radio will help publicise any events or activities and we certainly want to see all the pictures of what you get up to.
To take up the Carers’ Resource Cashback Challenge, simply complete this quick form:
We will send you a Cashback Challenge pack, complete with a host of fund-raising ideas and details of how your funds could help plus a cheque for £50 to get you started.
Additionally the business that has the most innovative fundraising idea will win a month’s advertising package with Fresh Radio worth £1000.
The Cashback Challenge will run from the 5th May until 5th September 2010 when we’ll ask you to return the £50 plus any money you’ve raised.
We are giving you the chance to win an on air advertising package worth £1,000, the chance to support a valuable local charity and a great team building opportunity.
It couldn’t be simpler - we give you £50 and you use all your guile, charm and fundraising skills to multiply that figure as much as possible, before presenting the total raised back to The Carers’ Resource and thus automatically being entered into the competition to win with Fresh Radio- The most innovative fundraising scheme as selected by the Fresh team will win the business (group or school)a grand’s worth of advertising.
Interested? If you think your business might like to get involved we are holding a launch event, kindly sponsored by Rendezvous Hotel on Wednesday May 5th, so why not come along and find out more?

The Dignity in Care Campaign was launched in November 2006 to end tolerance of indignity in health and social care services. It encourages people to talk about dignity issues and to improve the quality of care for service users and their carers in hospitals, care homes, GP surgeries etc.
The National Carers Strategy aims to ensure carers are respected as expert partners in care. At the Carers’ Resource we strongly support this. Anna Jackson, our Head of Development, has signed up to be a dignity champion to promote carers’ issues onto the dignity agenda.
Thursday 25 February
is National Dignity Day and we would like
to hear from YOU. |
 |
We want to capture your experiences as a carer of someone using health and social care services – both good and bad. We would like to build up a collection of stories and case studies which Anna can use to push dignity and respect for carers up the local, regional and national agendas.
If you have anything you would like to share with us linked to dignity in care please contact your local office – numbers below - and they will take the details to pass to Anna.
Or contact Anna directly:
