Following on from our coverage in 'Choices' about the importance of breaks for carers. Jackie Walsh from Pateley Bridge was interviewed by Stray FM explaining how vital it was for her to have some time out from her caring role.
Ripon Lunch
Carers are all ages, come from all backgrounds and are looking after people in many different situations. However there are many things they share such as guilt and anxiety, lack of knowing who to turn to in the maze of services and what help is out there for them and someone to ask how they feel. This group of carers attending a lunch organised by a volunteer in Ripon told us some of their thoughts, hopes and concerns
