Carers' Resource - You care for them, we care for you

Working for us

There are many opportunities at The Carers’ Resource ranging from client facing to administration in our different localities. Please see our current vacancies if you are interested in taking up a role with our organisation.

Being a volunteer

We are always seeking people to join our enthusiastic team of volunteers, who help us in a huge variety of ways. Please see our volunteering page for full details.

Carer Support Officers/Carer Specialists/Parent Carer Specialists and Emergency Planners

Work directly with carers, working alongside them to understand their needs and support them in accessing benefits, other services and planning for emergencies. In some locations we also conduct carers assessments.

Breaks and Wellbeing Workers

Work directly with carers offering them a break from their caring role though groups and activities. They are always seeking new and different ways of giving carers a break.

Information Officers

Work with carers and professionals giving them the information they need to help them make better decisions and access services.

Young Carer and Family Workers

Work with young carers and their families as mentors, offering breaks for young carers from their caring through clubs and holiday activities.

Information, Advice and Guidance Workers

Work with carers and others who are seeking support on education, employment and learning. Their work is tailored to their clients needs.

Development Officers

Seek to develop the services of the organisation. They write bids for additional funding and ensure that carers views are represented when developing services.

Volunteer Co-ordinators

Recruit and induct volunteers to work with carers and vulnerable people.

Administrators and Receptionists

Support other employees and the organisation – taking referrals, booking appointments and managing the facilities.

Everyone who works at the Carers’ Resource shares a passion and commitment to working with carers and vulnerable people. The Carers’ Resource is committed to employing bright, talented and energetic people, and once we’ve found them, helping them reach their full potential.
